How to use a Staples coupon
- 01Pick a live Staples card. A ream of paper and a printer are not the same return.
- 02Open staples.com. A print job on documents.staples.com is a different desk, and this code does not follow it there.
- 03One code at checkout. Ink, toner, or a case of paper can ship free on its own. Most other carts want about $49.99 before next-day delivery is free.
- 04Under about $49.95 the delivery fee is $9.95. Pickup at a Staples store is free. Next-day wants the order in by about 5pm local, and it skips weekends and holidays.
- 05Office supplies and unopened ink can come back any time. A computer, printer, tablet, or camera has about 14 days from the day it arrived. Furniture is the same 14 days, and it has to come apart first.
- 06If it fails, the box may already be open, or the order is on a Staples site this cart does not cover. Try the next live card on a regular staples.com item.

- Minimum
- Eligible orders of about $49.99 or more can get free next-day delivery. Under about $49.95, delivery is $9.95. An order that is only ink, toner, or case paper can ship free without that bar. Oversize items are quoted on their own.
- Stacking
- One code. Easy Rewards points are not a second promo box. If a free gift came with the item, it has to go back too, or they take its value out of the refund.
- App vs web
- staples.com, or the counter at a Staples store. Print, design, promotional products, and a third-party link are not this checkout.
- Returns
- Office supplies can come back any time if they are still fit to sell. Unopened, unexpired ink and toner can too. Computers, printers, tablets, cameras, and other business machines have about 14 days from receipt. Furniture is 14 days, taken apart and safe to ship. Custom furniture only if it was already defective when it arrived. An online or phone order can use their free label or any Staples store. A purchase made in the store has to go back to a store.
- Final sale
- Opened or expired ink does not come back. Opened boxed software and downloads do not. Gift cards, prepaid cards, and phone cards do not. A coupon is spent once it is used. The refund is what you paid, and the code is not handed back.
