Zappos is the shoe shop on zappos.com, opened in 1999 and now under Amazon. The racks run from Nike and Hoka to adidas, New Balance, Crocs, and Sam Edelman, plus clothes for the same cart. People talk about a pair they tried on in the kitchen and could not send back, a code that died because the brand was on the skip list, and a shoe box that arrived with tape on it. A code here cuts the zappos.com cart on the card. It will not cover Nike if the promo says so, and it will not un-wear a pair.

- 05Final sale does not come back. A return that fails the rules can pick up a restocking fee, up to about half the price.
- 06If it fails, the brand may be on the exclusion list, or the code was already used on that account. Try the next live card.

- New shopper
- The email list offers 10% to a new subscriber, one code per email address. A welcome code still follows the brand exclusions.
- Minimum
- Most site codes have no dollar floor. They still skip gift cards, tax, and the brands named on the promo.
- Stacking
- One code per Zappos account, on one qualifying order. It will not sit with certain other offers, and it is not cash.
- App vs web
- zappos.com or the Zappos app. A code written for the site will not follow a third-party link.
- Returns
- Free returns in the US, territories, and APO/FPO. About 60 days, new condition, unworn, unwashed, original packaging, tags and security seals still on. Footwear has to come back in the original shoe box, without packing tape or a postal label on that box. Drop it at UPS with their free label, or have the counter print one from the code they email.
- Final sale
- Final sale does not come back. A return that is worn, incomplete, or missing the box can be refused, or hit with a restocking fee up to about 50%.
